The Snox Pro from Pewag is the ultimate when it comes to ease of use. There is no hook or manual tensioning involved; the chains are self-tensioning. You put the chain over the tyre, pull down the covered cable tightly between the tyre and the road surface, and you drive the car a little bit forward. Then re-tighten (without hooks), get in the car, and drive away. No more! The Pewag Snox Box automatically keeps the chain tensioned while driving. The disassembly is just as simple: you remove the Quick-Release System with one finger and the chain relaxes, so you can remove it from the wheel in one go. The chains are 3.2 mm thick but requires an inside clearance of 9.6 mm. The Pewag Snox Pro is also equipped with rim clips, so that your rims are protected from damage.
