The Nordic Star Pewag is a rock-solid no-nonsense snow chain which is suitable for cars with front wheel drive as well as cars with rear wheel drive. The chain links are square and 3 mm thick, providing a firm grip during winter conditions. This snow chain is applied using the traditional way: just place the chain under the tyre and connect it at the back, drive a few inches, and then you are able to re-tension at the front of the wheel. The chains are suitable for vehicles with limited space in the wheel arches (also applicable for cars with extra wide tires or a sport suspension). The traditional tensioning method is used to put on the chains, but removing them is a breeze as there is a quick release mechanism.
