One of the most simple type of tyre chains to mount is the <strong>RUD Centrax N 888 snow chains</strong>. This tread chain is suitable for vehicles with little or no space in the wheel arch. Many modern vehicles have no space here, so you are usually stuck with a chain which attaches to the front of the wheel. The Centrax is different as it is fixed onto the wheel bolt, and is easy to place the tape. The chain itself is simple and easy to mount using the supplied installation gloves. The Centrax has excellent grip on ice and snow and prevents damage to the rim. These snow chains are provided as a set of 2. All adaptors for wheel bolt size 17, 19, 21 and 24 mm are included.

Snowchain Instructions
- In Principle chains should be easy to install
- Instructions are poor and need a lot of figuring out
- Expensive
- There should be a utube video in English which starts right at the beginning
I havent used them yet. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure them out and adjusting them and fitting them, and got a long way but I will have to have another go before using them in earnest. I don't think in principle they are difficult to fit - much easier than other ones I have used, especially to take off, but the instructions to adjust them and then fit them are not great, If they were step by step it would be much more user friendly.
